Job description

We are looking for a Ruby on Rails Developer to join us as a freelancer and help us create different apps.

We are looking for someone who

  • Experienced with Ruby on Rails

  • Knowledgeable in SQL databases, especially Postgres

  • Focused on writing clean & SOLID code

  • Checking your code with unit and integration tests (e.g. RSpec)

  • Equipped with real-world GIT experience

  • Have knowledge of the whole life cycle of projects (kickoff, deploy to production → maintenance)

  • Fluent in spoken and written English

  • Ready to discuss and iterate your ideas during code reviews

  • Open to learn and discover new ways of solving problems

  • Able to deploy your app to production

Bonus points if you

  • Have basic knowledge of Docker

  • Knowledge sharing approach

  • Familiar with Javascript frameworks

  • Basic knowledge of GraphQL

In this role, you will

  • Join our Monterail Tech Network as a freelancer

  • Create and maintain a dashboard app for property owners to manage AI-generated responses

  • Work in a highly collaborative team with fellow designers, project managers, backend, QAs and frontend developers
