The Challenge
As the first step, the team assessed the current situation and decided on the product’s roadmap
The app in its initial stage was developed by an external team as a Progressive Web Application (PWA) which meant it wasn’t available in the Google App Store or App Store. This meant that there was a lot of space for further development and that the product could be optimized to reach a wider audience.
One of the first challenges was also implementing various access levels within the application. This way, the client’s team would get a more usable version of the product and get ready to present it to a group of local investors.
Key challenges of the project included:
Legacy code as the project was previously developed by a different team.
Introducing a user flow and access levels.
Establishing a workflow that would ensure quick and efficient changes to the app.
